Users reported a “Content not available” error when trying to watch YouTube videos. The issue was introduced in version 0.28.1 and manifested as a regression – a previously working feature that broke after a code change.

The hot‑fix 0.28.2 (see the release notes on GitHub – https://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/releases/tag/v0.28.2) addresses the main bug (issue #13082) and patches four additional regressions (#13072, #13031, #13040, #13046). After installing this build, NewPipe resumes normal video playback without the error message.
