Version 13, released recently, contains updates aimed at reducing operational burden, but they don’t change the fundamental technical nature of the tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the most relevant additions is the ability to automatically pair dashboards with data from supported sources. Instead of building each graph manually, users can rely on preconfigured suggestions. Queries become reusable and shareable across teams, a feature that addresses the needs of structured organizations rather than individual developers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Git Sync for dashboards and folders reaches general availability. Synchronization with Git repositories allows tracking changes and managing deployment in a more controlled manner, a critical aspect for production environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI Assistant and Real Limits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Grafana Assistant receives updates to suggest more relevant dashboards, but remains a support tool, not a magic solution. The Scenes architecture, introduced in version 11, is now fully integrated, but still requires expertise to be leveraged effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new Gauge visualization adds options for metrics with semicircle indicators. Annotations have been simplified for adding context to graphs during relevant events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
